So the latest incarnation of the Leaving Plan has involved my dad driving his truck to pull our enclosed trailer which we're worried is too heavy for the minivan to handle. Dad may have developed a blood clot in his leg, however, which would throw a wrench in him driving for a few days straight. He's getting an ultrasound at the moment. For now, we'll be reorganizing what we've packed to separate what we'll need in the first month or so in case he can't come with us right away, and wait for results about Dad. Update: Dad came back from the hospital with good news - doesn't appear to be a clot, so he was given the OK to go. We've decided to leave Monday morning (my dad will head out Tuesday morning), spend two nights in Kansas City with some of Lance's family, and then we'll caravan together to the land on Wednesday. We hope.
